Hello, my name is Adam and this space is a project for my American Literature Honros class. This space is intended to show my personal philosophy statement, that evil is based on perspective, and how this statement relates to works of literature that we have and/or will read. I personally love Led Zeppelin and Star Wars. I also love history and mythology, particulary German history and mythology and will try to these things into my wikispace. This poem is "Dust of Snow' by Robert Frost. I like it because it takes what could be bad, a crow, cold, snow, and changes the perspective so it seems good.
The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

This is a scene from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge Of The Sith. In this scene, Palpatine talks to Anakin about how good(Jedi) and evil(Sith) are points of view and are very similar. This is a well-acted scene in the greatest movie saga of all time.

This is a video clip from Batman Begins. It talks about how minding your surroundings is important. This can mean physical surroundings or just minding other points of view. It shows that perspective is everything.

This song is "Gallows Pole" by Led Zeppelin and offers the two perspectives of the hangman and the man to be hanged. The lyrics portray the hangman as evil and the guilty man as good, which is a reversal from normal views.
